By The River RV Park and Campground Reservation, Cancellation, Refund and Late Check-Out Policy

Reservations:

A valid MasterCard or Visa credit/debit card is required when making a reservation. This guarantees your reservation for the requested date and number of nights, and holds the reserved site for late arrival. You will be contacted by phone at the number you list in your reservation above to maintain the security of your credit card.

We understand circumstances may arise that necessitate a change in your travel plans.

Cancellation:

You may cancel your reservation with no charge prior to twenty-four (24) hours from the reservation date.

By The River does not charge your card unless you are no-show on the date of, or cancel within twenty-four (24) hours of your reservation.

If you:

- are no-show on the day of,
OR
- cancel less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to your reservation, then By The River will charge your card for the balance of one (1) night's stay based single-occupancy rate for the type of site (back-in, pull through, waterfront, premium waterfront or tent camping) reserved. No discount applies in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.

If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please call us at 888-367-5566 (toll-free) or email us at reservations@bytheriver.com prior to twenty-four (24) hours from the date of your reservation.

Refunds:

Payment for your stay is made at check-in. By The River accepts MasterCard, Visa, Cash or Check. By The River does not refund for unused nights in the event you choose to leave before your reserved stay is over.

Late Check-Out:

Check-out time is noon (12:00pm) on your scheduled departure day. Late departure/check-out may be arranged in advance with the office for an additional fee of $10.00, extending your check-out time to 4:00pm the day of your scheduled departure. If you would like to extend your stay, please check with the office as early as possible the on your scheduled departure day.

Extending A Reservation:

Extending your reservation may be possible based on site availability. Because our campground is in high demand, it may not be possible to offer an extension to your reservation. If you would like to extend your stay, please check with the office staff at your earliest convenience. Based on site availability, the staff will be happy to accommodate your request. In some cases, it may be possible to extend your stay by moving to a different site for the duration of
your desired stay, in the event your current site is booked but other sites are available.
